Two nights ago we came into unload in our 9650 sts (2003 model). The auger would not swing out and will not pull into gear. The hydruli pump loades up and sounded like it was trying to swing it but it wouldnt move. We had our local JD mechanics out all yesterday. If you are replacing the outer tube remove the bolts from split in the sleeve and pry the sleeve open with a pry bar. Spray penetrating oil along the split in the auger sleeve and tie a rope about 6 to 7 feet from the inside end and lift slightly with a loader tractor or like.
